BloodTies ~ Part 5

Sungmin was sat on the bed beside Kyuhyun. He could hear Leeteuk outside the room speaking to Yesung on the phone, pleading with him to come and figure out what was wrong with the sick boy, Sungmin had tried using his healing powers, but even they failed. Kyuhyun was fading and they needed Yesung's help, fast.
Sungmin stroked Kyuhyun's cheek with his thumb, brushing the blonde hair from his face before kissing him softly on the forehead. He sighed.

"We'll find out what's wrong with you, don't worry. I won't let you die." Tears ran down his cheeks at the thought of what may happen if Yesung didn't come, he quickly shook the thoughts from his head and wiped his tears. Leeteuk entered the room and smiled.

"It took some persuading but he is on his way, just don't mention that it was Kyuhyun who killed Siwon. You know what Yesung is like for holding grudges, I fear if he finds out his nephew killed his brother, he will not help." Sungmin nodded and grabbed Kyuhyun's hand tightly.

"Leeteuk Hyung why won't he wake up. I don't get what's made him so sick. Last week at school he was fine. I thought he was getting better, but then earlier on with the vomiting" he shook his head.
"I can't lose him, not again" Sungmin sobbed as Leeteuk wrapped his arms around him.

"We're not going to lose him. Whatever this is Yesung will find it, and Kyuhyun will recover. He will be back to his usual cheeky self before you know it"
Sungmin pulled away smiling slightly and took Kyuhyun's hand once again.

"Minnie, I have an idea, take my hand but keep your other in Kyuhyun's. Focus all of your power on him okay?" Leeteuk took Sungmin's free hand in his and closed his eyes.

"What? I don't understand what are you…." Leeteuk cut him off.

"Shush just do it" Sungmin nodded and closed his eyes tightly, he was the link between Leeteuk and Kyuhyun.
Leeteuk focused all of his psychic power on trying to pinpoint the source of Kyuhyun's sickness.
He saw flashbacks from the past month, Siwon's death, the nightmares, starting school again, Henry being bullied, Pinning Kangin to the wall. His eyes opened and he let go of Sungmin's hand.
Kyuhyun's hand twitched and he opened his eyes slowly.

"What's going on? How did I end up here?" He whispered as his throat was sore from vomiting. Sungmin grinned, leaning down to cuddle him.

"Kyuhyun… Why didn't you tell us about what happened in the library?" Leeteuk's face was hard, he looked angry.

"What? Wait you read me? Leeteuk Hyung… I'm sorry… I… I snapped." There were tears in the corner of his eyes.

"He has been poisoned. That's why he's sick and getting worse. Yesung will have to figure out what poison it is, because I can't." Leeteuk looked at Kyuhyun, he was disappointed at the younger boy.

"Leeteuk what are you talking about? What happened in the library?" Sungmin looked at both boys, he didn't know what had happened during Kyuhyun's free period the week before. But he was about to find out.

"Kyuhyun was the last person to see Kangin, weren't you Kyuhyun. What he failed to tell any of us was that it was during the free period he has when he was in the library at school." Kyuhyun rolled over and buried his face into his pillow, hiding his tears and shame. They had all agreed not to drink from any human that was not willing. Kyuhyun had crossed a line and Leeteuk wasn't happy.

"Kangin was insulting us again. Kyuhyun lost his temper and almost strangled him. He released him after Kangin apologized. But rather than letting him go, Kyu drank from him instead. Kangin set Kyuhyun up, ingesting a toxin harmful to vampires but not to mortals. He knew something wasn't right with the three of you at school. He knows about you! And it's all thanks to Kyuhyun's stupidity." He stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him.

Sungmin was staring at the floor in a daze. He could hear Kyuhyun crying into the pillow behind him.

"Why didn't you tell me about this? I thought we had agreed, no secrets." He came out of his daze and turned to Kyuhyun, he just lead there and rubbed his eyes.

"I'm sorry… I just… I don't know what happened. I lost my temper, I know that much, the rest is just a blur… I'm sorry, but I guess I'm paying for it now" he turned to Sungmin who had tears in his eyes.

Kyuhyun stretched out his arm and held out his hand, Sungmin just looked at him for several minutes.
His eyes were no longer the bright beautiful blue they had been for the past month, instead they were pale, they no longer sparkled and almost hypnotized Sungmin like they used to, and his ice white complexion was now a pale gray. Sungmin had never seen someone look so sick, and it broke his heart to see the boy he loved this way.

"I don't care about a slight slip, its happened to all of us. I just can't lose you."  He took Kyuhyun's hand and broke down into tears. Lying beside Kyuhyun, Sungmin kissed his nose and pulled him close to his chest. Both felt completely helpless.

Yesung arrived an hour later, he was sat talking with Leeteuk when Sungmin came down the stairs for another blanket.

"Annyeonghaseyo Sungmin, it's been a while." he bowed his head and smiled.

"Annyeonghaseyo Yesung Hyung, thank you for coming, I knew it couldn't have been an easy choice for you. I really am grateful" He bowed before entering the spare room and pulling out another blanket.

"I couldn't say no. My only Nephew is possibly dying, I'm not going to sit and do nothing while the only part of my brother I have left dies." Sungmin's face hardened and he growled.

"He is not going to die!" He stormed upstairs with the blanket, leaving Yesung to follow silently behind.

The both of them entered the bedroom and Sungmin sat on the bed, Leeteuk appeared and stood against the door frame.

"Kyuhyun this is Yesung, he's a healer. Hopefully he can figure this out." Sungmin smiled as Kyuhyun rolled over to greet the older boy, he bowed his head and smiled slightly.

"Annyeonghaseyo Yesung Hyung, it's nice to meet you" He pulled the blanket up to his chin, running his eyes over the unfamiliar man. He looked younger than Leeteuk, but Kyuhyun couldn't be sure. He was tall and slim, with spiked black hair reaching his neck, Silver cross earrings showed through his hair. He was dressed in a black sleeveless shirt, the top and bottom buttons were undone, revealing a white belt as well as a part of his pale chest. The black shirt was joined by black cargo pants. All that black made him look a lot paler than he really was.

"Annyeong Kyuhyun." He bowed politely and turned to Leeteuk.

"He really has no idea who I am does he" He grinned as Leeteuk shook his head. Kyuhyun looked at the three older boys, being this confused made his headache worse, that's what he thought anyway.

"Is somebody going to tell me what's going on? I could be dying here!" He sat up slowly with a smile on his face. Sungmin giggled.

"Some things never change." He laughed at Kyuhyun, who poked his tongue out at his boyfriend, before continuing to speak.

"Yesung is Siwon's older brother… And you're uncle." Kyuhyun's eyes widened as he looked a Yesung, who seemed to tense up at the mention of his brother's name.

"I…I'm sorry." Kyuhyun saw Siwon's lifeless body in his head as his shifted his eyes to Leeteuk, Yesung tilted his head slightly.

"Sorry for what?"
Just as Kyuhyun was about to speak, Leeteuk shook his head and mouthed what looked like 'don't tell him'. He simply sighed and shook his head.
Everything was changing once again, he was getting sicker every day to the point he was sure he wouldn't last the week, now he had an uncle he never knew about.

"All I know right now is that he has been poisoned. I don't know what toxin it is, I couldn't tell by reading him. A boy at school, he stupidly drank from, had it in his blood." Leeteuk glared at Kyuhyun, he was still pissed off.

"Feeding on people at school?" Yesung smirked.
"You really are Siwon's son."  Kyuhyun hissed at his uncle, who just laughed.

"Well from what you've told me Leeteuk, the extremely high fever, vomiting blood, dizziness and all the rest of his symptoms." He sighed
"It's going to sound strange, but people in Europe have found out that Lavender is toxic to vampires. Ingesting it or simply using it on their skin, Is enough to protect them against a vampires bite." He paused and pressed his palm to Kyuhyun's head, checking the boy over.  

"Leeteuk may I speak with you? Alone." The two of them stepped out of the room, closing the door behind him. Kyuhyun strained his ears to hear, as did Sungmin, there really wasn't any privacy in a house full of vampires.

"His eyes shouldn't be that pale, and his fever shouldn't be that high." He ran his fingers through his hair and rubbed the back of his neck. A shout came from the bedroom.

"You do realise I can hear you, you might as well talk in here, then me and Minnie wouldn't have to be nosy" Kyuhyun giggled, causing him to cough uncontrollably, he covered his mouth with the blanket as Yesung and Leeteuk rushed back in the room. When his coughing fit had passed he pulled the blanket away, revealing a patch of blood he had coughed up. He sighed and fell back onto the pillow.

"Aish Shit" he rubbed his head as Sungmin took his hand.

"Yesung Hyung, what can we do?" Sungmin squeezed Kyuhyun's hand tightly.

"The thing about lavender, it's a slow toxin. It attacks the venom used in the transformation from human to vampire. It targets the venom until every last bit is destroyed, if vampires weren't already dead it would act as a cure, but since vampirism isn't a disease…Put simply, if we don't do something soon, you will die." His face softened and his eyes sparkled with tears.

"But I'm not going to let that happen. You may have killed my brother, but you are still my nephew. I'm not giving up on you like he did."

Kyuhyun froze; his eyes open wide, looking his uncle directly in the eyes.

"Wait. You know that I killed him?" he was shaking slightly; he didn't know whether it was the fever or fear. Yesung nodded and smile.

"Of course, it was written all over your face as soon as you found out who I was. Don't worry, he may have been my brother, but my relationship with him ended when he left me for dead one night, but that's a story for another day. Right now we need to find the boy who did this to you, it was his blood that caused this and his blood that can cure you, once the lavender is out of his system his blood mixed with Sungmin's venom will cure you." He smiled and perched on the bed beside Kyuhyun.
Sungmin sighed.

"Yesung Hyung there may be a problem with that. Kangin, the boy who did this, He's been missing for a week. Kyuhyun was the last one to see him."

"Well in that case we better get looking for him. Yah you, get some rest" He smiled and patted Kyuhyun on the head before leaving the room with Leeteuk.
Sungmin smiled and kissed his boyfriend softly on the lips.

"We'll find Kangin don't worry. Now listen to Yesung, get some rest, he might be an idiot sometimes but he knows what he's talking about" He laughed as they heard Yesung shout up the stairs.

"Yah! Watch your mouth Sungmin. You may be strong but I can still kick your ass!"

Kyuhyun grinned and snuggled into the pillow, pulling the blanket round him.

"I like him, he's nothing like Siwon" He yawned before drifting off to sleep. Sungmin left the room, closing the door quietly on his way out.

A few days past and they received a phone call from the police, thanking them for their cooperation and letting them know that Kangin had been found, he was staying in a hotel on the other side of town. He wouldn't tell anyone why. Kyuhyun knew it was because of him.

Kyuhyun was lead on the sofa with his head in Sungmin's lap, they were watching Death Note, trying to distract Kyuhyun from the pain he was in. He was dealing with it surprisingly well.

"Right I'll be back soon, the school called, wanting to know why the two of you and Henry haven't been attending, I'm going to go sort it out" Leeteuk smiled at the two boys as he pulled on his jacket and left the house.
Today was Wednesday and Hyukjae and Donghae were at school, they attended a different school to the other boys, it was a specialist dance school, they didn't see the point in regular school anymore, they loved dancing so what was the point in anything else.
Henry was in his room teaching Yesung to play the guitar.
The house was peaceful for a change, just how Sungmin and Kyuhyun liked it.

Kangin was wandering around the school hallway, curious as to where the three strange boys were, since returning to school he skipped most of his lessons, the teachers gave up trying to get him to attend. He sat leaning against the wall outside the main office when he heard a soft and beautiful but unfamiliar voice from behind the door. He listened closely. He had a bad habbit of eavesdropping on people, no matter what the conversation.

"I hope you understand why I couldn't discuss this over the phone. My family are going through a tough time right now, we don't know whether Kyuhyun will pull through, Sungmin hasn't left his side and Henry has shut himself in his bedroom."

Kangin's body froze at the mention of Kyuhyun's name.
'Shit Kangin what have you done' he thought, slamming his head against the wall softly before he listened again.

"Thank you for taking the time to tell me this Leeteuk, I hope Kyuhyun recovers. He is an excellent student and I know Sungmin cares for him a lot. My thoughts are will you all right now." He heard a familiar voice, it was his head teacher.

"Thank you for understanding. I must be going, I have other things to attend to"

There was a brief moment of silence before the door handle turned, Kangin shot up and hid around the corner. He heard the door close and poked his head round to see the person with the beautiful voice. There stood a boy, not much older than Kangin. He was tall and slim; his dark blue jeans hung low off his hips and trailed on the floor underneath the black converse on his feet. He was wearing a white t-shirt with a black scarf draped loosely around his neck; his brown hair was slightly messy due to the wind.
He began to walk down the hallway when his phone rang. He answered it almost instantly.

"Yeoboseyo Sungmin-ssi. Everything is taken care of here, I'll be home soon. How is Kyuhyun?"
Kangin studied Leeteuk whilst he was speaking noticing a slight frown on his face.

"I see, well tell him to hang in there, we'll get him better. Yah! Tell him to shut up; I can hear him shouting at me! Tell him he's not too sick for a slap. Ne ne I'm setting off now. Annyeong"
A smile crept onto his face as he hung up the phone, revealing the cutest dimple on the left of his mouth. Kangin was so lost in the older boys beauty he didn't notice the fangs on show through his smile. He walked round the corner towards the angelic boy.

"Excuse me Leeteuk-Hyung?"  Leeteuk turned round to see a boy looking at the floor.

"Yes"

"I just wondered how Kyuhyun is. I heard he was sick." Kangin looked up slightly through the spikes of his black hair. Leeteuk tilted his head to the side, his face was curious.

"He's not doing so well at the moment. I'm sorry do I know you?"  Kangin just shook his head.
"Are you not going to look at me?" the older boy chuckled as Kangin raised his head, looking Leeteuk directly in the eyes. Leeteuk smiled.

"That's better. I'm sure I've seen you before, I never forget a handsome face like yours"  
The older boys words gave Kangin butterflies and made him blush. Something was different about the vampire stood in front of him and it had turned him into a nervous idiot.

"Hyung, you're eyes are beautiful… Are you a vampire?"  Kangin asked as he stared into the dark red orbs looking back at him.

"Unfortunately yes, I hope this doesn't bother you." Leeteuk was making his way to Kangin, who was leaning against the wall. Kangin shook his head as he bit down softly on his lip.
Leeteuk stopped just centimetres from the younger boys face, looking directly into his eyes.

"Hyung, how can you be a vampire and an angel at the same time?" There was a moment of silence before both started laughing.
"I'm sorry; I'm not usually so cheesy…or nervous"

"I don't usually expose myself to a human, so I guess were both trying something new today. Besides I think I can make an exception for someone so handsome." A smile crept onto Leeteuk's face as he closed the gap between them. Kangin was sure his heart was about to jump out of his chest.
'What am I doing? He's Sungmin's brother! If he finds out who I am he will kill me'

Thoughts went flying round his head as the gap between them closed and Leeteuk's soft lips were pressed against his. As Leeteuk pushed Kangin flat against the wall the younger boy grabbed Leeteuk's t-shirt, holding himself up as well as pulling himself closer to the vampire. Their eyes were closed tight as they shared the lusting kiss.
Images flashed in and out of Leeteuk's head of the young boy's life, tears filled his eyes as he continued to kiss Kangin, unable to pull away from the boy who had already captured his heart.
After several minutes locked in the embrace Leeteuk pulled away. Kangin noticed the tears and brushed his fingers over the vampire's cheek, a strong hand wrapped around his arm making him jump.

"Kangin Why didn't you tell me, you just let me kiss you why?"

"Ow Hyung you're hurting me. Wait how do you know who I am?" Kangin pulled at his wrist trying to release Leeteuk's grip, but he was too strong.

"Kyuhyun is dying because of you! I'm sorry but you have to come with me, your blood is the only thing that can save him. I can't let him die, no matter how fast or hard I've fallen for you"

Before Kangin could say anything they were out of the school building and half way home. Leeteuk moved incredibly fast, making Kangin's head spin, they were home within minutes.
All the way Leeteuk held the younger boys wrist tightly, tears running down his pale cheeks.
He pushed the front door open with enough force it smashed the small glass panel set in the wood. Yesung and Henry were downstairs within seconds to see Leeteuk throw Kangin to the floor in front of Sungmin and Kyuhyun, who were still on the sofa. Without saying a word he disappeared into his room, slamming the door behind him.

"What the hell is this piece of shit doing here?" Henry growled at Kangin, he was at home now and didn't have to pretend to be human. Yesung pressed a hand to the youngest boy's chest, holding him back.

"Calm down Henry. And watch your language! I take it this is Kangin?" Yesung asked as he knelt down beside Kangin. Kyuhyun nodded his head as he wiped traces of blood from his mouth that he had coughed up just minutes before.

"It's your lucky day my friend" Yesung smiled, showing his fangs.
Kangin felt a sharp pain in the back of his head, before falling to the floor unconscious.
